05 · Our Clients

Partnership before prescription.

A note on how we work, and on what a serious advisory relationship should feel like from the client's side of the table.

How we partner

Close enough to understand. Clear enough to challenge.

Client names, stories and feedback will appear here only with written permission. We do not publish logos, testimonials or results without consent, and we would extend the same discretion to your business.

01

Listening before prescribing

The first meeting is not the place for recommendations. We want to hear how the owner describes the business, then check that description against the numbers and against what the team says.

02

Close to the detail

Reading a management pack is not the same as watching an order move through a warehouse. We spend time where the work happens, because that is where the real constraint usually shows itself.

03

Challenge, respectfully

Useful advice sometimes contradicts a view the leadership team has held for years. We will say it clearly, in private first, and we will explain the evidence behind it.

04

Involve the people who execute

A change designed without the person who has to run it tends to survive about three weeks. We work with them from the start, which also makes the handover unnecessary.

From diagnosis to execution

Four moves we make together.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

Understand the business model, the numbers and how work actually moves.

  2. 02

    Prioritise

Agree what should come first, and be explicit about what is being left for later.

  3. 03

    Design

Shape processes, measures, systems and responsibilities with the people who will use them.

  4. 04

    Execute

Implement alongside the team, review progress together and adjust as evidence arrives.

What clients can expect

Practical outcomes, owned inside the business.

The measure of good advisory work is what the leadership team can run confidently once the advisor has left the room.

An honest reading of the business

What is working, what is not, and the one or two constraints that matter more than the rest.

A sequenced plan

Not twenty improvements. A short list in the order that creates the most value with the capacity available.

Clear ownership

Every action has a name against it and a date, agreed with that person rather than assigned to them.

Follow through

We stay involved after the presentation, because that is when most recommendations quietly stop.
